Baby Hilda and Baby Selma

 

Black child stars Baby Hilda and Baby Selma from Philadelphia were Baby Esther's successors. Selma was considered to be the next miniature Florence Mills. Baby Hilda even performed a few years later at the same event as Esther.

Hilda and Selma were often paired together. They once even sung "Barnacle Bill the Sailor."
